The Eagle Grove Community School District was organized in 1958, uniting most of the Wright County townships of Eagle Grove, Troy, Dayton and Woolstock; Webster County township of Newark and Humboldt County township of Norway.

The schools in the district are High School (9-12), Robert Blue Middle School (5-8), Lincoln Elementary (1-4), and Lela Howland Elementary (K-1).
